Finishing with a hydrating & firming sheet mask that will absorb easily into your skin leaving you with a healthy glow & glass like look to the skin. Improvements can be seen immediately but, in most cases, the next 24 - 48hrs are when your skin will be at its best! AFTER CARE Microneedling Aftercare Microneedling causes micro injury to the skin, which will be left looking red or pink and feeling tight similar to sunburn. You may have some areas of pinpoint bleeding; this is expected, and your skin will return to normal with in a day or two. Everyone’s skin is different so do not compare yours to others. For best results it is advisable to have multiple sessions of treatment. Aftercare is very important so please follow: It will take at least 3 hours for the tiny holes in your skin to close, it is very important not to touch or wash your face during this time. Afterwards if you feel that you want to remove any remaining product from your skin, you can splash cool water over your face and pat dry with a clean towel. If your skin is feeling dry and tight and you wish to hydrate it, only use a hyaluronic acid serum. The day after your treatment you can return to your normal skin routine. To achieve the best results from your microneedling treatment the following is advisable. For the next 5 days: A.M Gentle cleanse (nothing harsh) Green tea serum (a soothing antioxidant, perfect for dehydrated skin) Vitamin C, facial oil, Moisturizer, SPF50 P.M Double Cleanse, Green tea, growth factor/peptide, facial oil, moisturise. Ideal products are available to purchase from the Garden Room, if you need any advice on products please ask. Avoid sunbeds and strong direct sunlight for at least 7 days following treatment. Use SPF in your skincare routine, even on cloudy and overcast days to prevent pigmentation. SPF 30 is minimum; SPF 50 is ideal. Avoid excessive heat for 48hrs
